*Accepted applicants who take a Masters Certificate or a Mini-MBA program can have their exam writing fee waived. Other Schulich ExecEd leadership courses are eligible for 10% off the exam writing fee.

Developed from the knowledge and research of the faculty at Canada’s top business school, the Professional Leadership Certification is Schulich ExecEd’s most unique certification for leaders in Canada.
Leaders with at least 3 years of experience are invited to apply to write the 3-hour exam. Applicants who pass the exam will receive a one-year, renewable certification that can be securely verified and shared with employers.

Exams for the Professional Leadership Certification are made of 50 standard, four-option multiple-choice questions, focusing on the foundational knowledge required for successful leadership.
There is one exam per level, with different questions that pertain to the different abilities for Project Leaders, Frontline Leaders, and Senior Leaders. Candidates are given three (3) hours to complete their exam, and will receive their results at the end of the exam. For sample test questions, please refer to Appendix 3 of the Candidate Handbook.

Done after submitting your application and before your exam, if you have already demonstrated the required hours of leadership training and do not wish to take additional courses.
